Glinn Toran is assigned to the fifth Order and is currently commanding a flight of Cardassian Fighters based out of Terek Nor. He is unusually outspoken in his contempt for all things pertaining to the Dominion, its representatives, and its alliance with Cardassia. There is some resemblance between Glinn Toran and a Gul Toran who died on DS9 in 2370. However, caution is necessary when considering Cardassians with the surname Toran, since Starfleet Intelligence indicates that the Toran name is as common on Cardassia as Jones is in Wales (see Great Britain, Earth). Starfleet intelligence will need DNA samples of Glinn Toran to resolve the issue.
